Terms of Service
Version 2.2 · Effective 17 May 2026
We've written these in plain English. Each section has a short summary followed by the full legal wording. By creating an account or using Tunytot, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use Tunytot
Tunytot is for parents and guardians aged 18 and over. By using the Service, you confirm that: you're at least 18; you're the parent or legal guardian of any child whose details you provide; and you'll use the Service lawfully and in line with these Terms.
Keep your credentials safe — you're responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at tunytotapp@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
2. What Tunytot does
Tunytot lets you create personalised songs ('Tunies') for your toddler; play, save, and manage songs in your library; and share songs using secure share links where available. We may update features over time — we'll give reasonable notice before removing anything significant from your existing library.
3. Free access and future pricing
- 3 free song plays before account creation, so you can try it without signing up
- Full free access to all features once you've created an account — no current paid tier
We intend to introduce paid plans in the future. We will give at least 30 days' notice before any free features become paid, and existing users will always have a clear choice before any change takes effect. We will update these Terms and notify you by email when our pricing model is finalised.
4. House rules
4.1 What you can do
Create songs for children in your care. Manage your library. Share songs with family and friends. Use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
4.2 What you must not do
The following will result in immediate suspension or permanent termination — and in serious cases, referral to law enforcement.
Child safety — zero tolerance:
- Submitting any input designed to generate content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers children
- Using Tunytot to create material that could be used to groom or gain inappropriate access to a child
- Misrepresenting your relationship to a child to access or create content about them
- Sharing content in a way that exposes a child to risk
Abusive and offensive content:
- Submitting names, interests, or any input containing profanity, slurs, hate speech, sexual content, or content intended to demean any person or group
- Deliberately crafting inputs to bypass our content filters — including creative rephrasing, indirect approaches, or prompt injection. The attempt is the violation, whether or not it succeeds
- Including personal data about third parties without their parent or guardian's consent
Platform abuse:
- Using bots or automated tools beyond what these Terms permit
- Circumventing rate limits, free-tier limits, or authentication
- Attempting to access data belonging to other users
- Reverse engineering any part of our platform — including AI prompts or the Lyria 3 audio pipeline
- Creating multiple accounts to circumvent free-tier limits
- Reselling or commercially exploiting the Service or songs without written permission
- Impersonating Tunytot, our team, or any other person
Legal violations:
- Using the Service in any way that breaks the law — including child safety, data protection, IP, or fraud law
- Giving us false information
- Anything that could expose Tunytot to legal liability
5. Content, moderation, and safety
5.1 Your inputs
You're responsible for all inputs you submit. We can refuse or discard any input we reasonably believe violates these Terms.
5.2 Automated filtering and moderation
Every input goes through automated content filtering before processing. Content moderation also runs on all AI-generated lyrics before audio is rendered, and again if you edit lyrics — so every version is checked before audio is produced. Exploiting gaps in the filter remains a violation of these Terms.
5.3 Human review
We may review inputs, songs, and account activity for safety and compliance, triggered automatically or following a report. Reviewers access only the minimum necessary and are bound by confidentiality.
5.4 Report something
If you see anything concerning — especially involving child safety — email tunytotapp@gmail.com immediately. We investigate every report within 24 hours.
5.5 Published songs (Tuny Garden)
When the Tuny Garden launches, all songs pass moderation before going live. No song containing a child's identifying information will be published publicly.
6. Songs and intellectual property
6.1 Your songs
Songs generated by Tunytot are for your personal, non-commercial use. You may play, download, and share them with family and friends. You may not sell them or use them commercially without our written permission.
6.2 Your inputs
You own whatever original content you contribute. By submitting inputs, you give us a limited licence to use them to generate your songs and improve our content systems. We'll never share your inputs publicly.
6.3 The platform
Our technology, software, design, branding, AI prompts, and Lyria 3 audio pipeline belong to Tunytot. You may not copy, reproduce, or build on any part of it.
7. Closing accounts
7.1 You closing yours
Close your account any time via account settings or by emailing tunytotapp@gmail.com. Your data is deleted in line with our Privacy Policy.
7.2 Us closing yours
We may suspend or close your account with immediate effect if we reasonably believe you have violated our child safety rules, submitted abusive inputs, attempted to circumvent our systems, or otherwise materially breached these Terms. For less serious issues we'll usually warn first. For child safety, we act without notice.
7.3 What happens after
On closure, your access ends immediately. Your data is deleted per the Privacy Policy. Sections 6 (IP), 8 (Liability), and 9 (General) survive termination.
8. Liability
8.1 What we promise
We'll do our best to keep Tunytot running reliably, filters effective, and your data safe. But we can't guarantee the Service is always available or that every generated song will be perfect.
8.2 Our liability cap
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
8.3 Generated content
Songs are AI-generated. We apply safety filtering at every step, but you are responsible for listening to a song before playing it to your child.
9. General
9.1 Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
9.2 Changes
We'll give at least 14 days' notice of any material change by email and on our website.
9.3 Severability and entire agreement
If any part is unenforceable, the rest continues. These Terms and our Privacy Policy together form the complete agreement between us.
